Entry Deadline
The entry deadline for all 2010 Tulsa State Fair Livestock and Horse shows is August 27, 2010.
Payment and Paperwork Deadline
If a credit card payment is not submitted with your entries online, payment and a copy of your online receipt must be mailed and postmarked no later than September 3, 2010. Late fees will apply if online receipt and payment are not postmarked by September 3, 2010. Entries mailed in and not submitted online must be postmarked on or before August 27, 2010.
Each 4-H Extension office or FFA Chapter will be required to mail a copy of each exhibitor’s online entry receipt, legal release statement, and payment by September 3, 2010. No entry will be accepted without online entry receipt, legal release form, and payment. Late fees will apply if online receipt, legal release form and payment are not postmarked by September 3, 2010.
Junior Livestock Nominations
All Junior Livestock Show Nominations will be done through a mail in process. There will not be any on-site nominations for Market Wether Lambs or Meat Goats. Nomination Kits can only be ordered by Ag Instructors and County Educations. Please read the Nomination rules for helpful information and step by step nomination instructions.
Breeding Gilts are now required to nominate in order to show at the Tulsa State Fair.
Breeding Gilt Show and Sale
The 2010 TSF will offer a Breeding Gilt Show and Sale. The top 35 gilts in the Breeding Gilt Show will be required to sell in the Gilt Sale, a public auction of breeding gilts on Saturday, October 9, 2010. All gilts selected into the gilt sale must sell – NO EXCEPTIONS.
The Tulsa State Fair Breeding Gilt Show and Sale is limited to Oklahoma Youth. Youth who are five by July 1, 2010 and have neither graduated from high school before May 2010 nor reached their 19th birthday before January 1, of the year of the show will be eligible to show. The exhibitor must be able to control their gilt and show the gilt by their self without assistance from someone else in the ring.
All gilts showing at the Tulsa State Fair must mail in nomination packets to the Tulsa State Fair office postmarked by July 1, 2010. Please read the Nomination rules for helpful information and step by step nomination instructions.
Junior Livestock Showmanship
The 2010 TSF will offer a Junior Showmanship Contest for exhibitors with animals entered in the Junior Shows. Please see all rules and guidelines for the showmanship contest in the Livestock Premium Book. |
